Braincubation, (a community-driven incubator of blockchain projects with altruistic missions) is partnering with Braintrust (a decentralized talent network connecting freelancers with organizations). Braintrust uses its native token BTRST, an ERC 20 token used to govern its network and incentivize its community. You can also buy and trade BTRST from major exchanges like Coinbase, Gate.io, and Coinlist Pro.
A little side story. Braincubation started as my blog back in 2016. It has evolved into a DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) community incubator and launchpad of blockchain projects with altruistic and philanthropic missions. At Braincubation, we support and help braincubate projects like:
AIoT Meta Coin - the most eco-friendly community-driven blockchain project, focused on making 4th Transformational Technologies easy-to-use and cheap.
CIRCONOMY DAO - the DAO focused on up-cycling and circular economy.
AIoT Metaversity - bringing egalitarian 4th Transformational Technology education into the Metaverse.
AIoT MetaMall / Eco NFT Gallery - the VR-based blockchain-powered Mall trading eco-friendly NFTs (non-fungible tokens, digital) and NFAs (non-fungible assets, physical).
Rotary DAO – an e-club of the Rotary Club in the Metaverse.
We are at the tipping point of getting mainstream adaption of 4th Transformational Technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, the Metaverse, and Blockchain/Web 3.0. These technologies are going to revolutionize the world as we currently know it.
People often see these 4th Transformational Technologies as complex, expensive, and impractical — but this is changing. Companies like Facebook (now Meta), Apple, and Microsoft are betting big in these 4th Transformational Technologies. And today's generation is getting more interested in them. Once there is a massive adaption, and as more people gravitate towards these technologies, the more they will become ubiquitous and pervasive.
Who does not have Alexa, Siri, Bixby, or Cortana in their lives nowadays? Who does not use some wearable IoT to monitor heart rate, steps, or hours of sleep? Who does not know about Bitcoin, Ethereum, even Dogecoin, and other cryptocurrencies? Recently, many people have gravitated to buy their Oculus Quest 2 to join Facebook Horizon or the Facebook Metaverse World fad. Blockchain is revolutionizing finance from peer-to-peer lending to staking. Art investment with NFT (non-fungible tokens). Virtual real estate (with Decentraland, Upland, Sandbox, etc.). And future organizations will move towards a DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organizations) model, where humans will co-exist with bots and AIs.
The world of peer-to-peer employment is not exempt from this Metaverse-Blockchain trend. Braintrust, for example, is using blockchain to connect tech talents with potential projects and employers and allows both traditional fiat currencies and perhaps cryptocurrencies (in the future) as a mode of payment.
The Brain Factor
Braintrust only charges 10% markup compared to other traditional outsourcing or 1099 agencies of more than 30%.
Braintrust is a global talent marketplace owned by its talent that places highly experienced engineers/designers/product/IT people into sophisticated roles. Spin up and downgrade as you need, with no commitments or high markups.
A few ways that Braintrust is different:
You can find the best talent at the best rates: they attract the best talent, thanks to their unique co-ownership blockchain model, and they only charge a 10% administrative fee on top of their talent's actual market rate.
Save hiring managers time and drive velocity: they handle all of the upfront sourcing and screening candidates; to put 3-5 highly qualified candidates in front of you in a matter of days. They help you save time sifting through resumes, managing the process, etc.
Provide unmatched transparency into the talent's credentials, portfolio, etc., so you have more control over who's joining your team in a way that traditional players typically don't offer.
Their enterprise clients include Nextdoor, Deloitte, TaskRabbit, Nestle, Pacific Life, Porsche, Nike, Doordash, Compass, Goldman Sachs, NASA, Lexmark, Coursera, Black & Decker, etc.
